Laptops tend to become dirty faster than desktops, mostly because they are used in different places. Some laptops have removable keys, lie to others to clean them with the attached keyboard. Although it is almost impossible to keep a laptop keyboard completely clean, regular cleaning can prevent damage and prolong the life of your computer.

Unplug your laptop power source and turn it off. Remove any connected device, including mouse and any USB drive.

 

Removes unhooking keyboard keys using the blunt knife or other instrument.

Place the keys you’re taking in a bowl with warm soapy water. The dishwasher detergent is effective in removing dirt and oil to rub lightly. Let soak keys.

Spray the keyboard with a can of compressed air. Hold the can at an angle and be careful not to be too close to the air pressure will not damage your laptop.

Clean the touchpad and surrounding areas with a clean lint-free cloth.

Dampen a cloth fabric with a mixture of equal parts water and isopropyl alcohol and use it to clean the rest of the keyboard. If you reach not clean the dirt in some small areas, such as the site where the keyboard meets the display, use a cotton swab.

Keys Rinse in warm water and let it dry completely before putting them back. Make sure all the keyboard parts are completely dry before replacing the keys.

Leave the keys attached to the keyboard if you can not remove or damage the computer you’re worried.

 

Clean the keyboard by using a can of compressed air to remove dirt and debris that can exist between and under the keys.

Hold the can of compressed air to 3 inches (7.6 cm) from the computer at an angle, and slowly move it from one end of the keyboard to the other.

Turn your laptop over a garbage can and shake gently to remove any debris left.

Clean the touchpad and surrounding area with a cloth to dry, lint-free cloth or towel designed for use in electronic devices.
