Ethiopian Airlines, Pan African global airline currently serves 84 domestic and international within five continents with over 200 flights daily destinations. With the aim of increasing their routes, in the last three months it has significantly expanded its reach by adding some of the most important destinations in Africa, North and South America, Asia and Europe.

First came Tokyo, on 21 April this year. Ethiopian Airlines began flying from Addis Ababa to the Japanese city thanks to the cooperation of a member of the Star Alliance, All Nippon Airways, the leading airline in Japan.
The flight, which takes place three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday back to Japan, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, back) is the only direct connection that exists between Japan and Africa. It operates through Hong Kong, with the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a device that offers travelers a great experience on board, with large windows, high ceilings, low noise and low environmental impact.

Just four days later, on April 25, are the direct route between starting AddisAbaba and Sao Paulo , with a frequency of three times a week also on the Boeing 787. This link has also opened the door to trade and exchange passengers and freight between Brazil and Ethiopia. It has also facilitated travel on the trade route between China, Africa and Brazil.

Meanwhile, on 19 June, it will open the way Addis Ababa-Dublin-Los Angeles , the only direct service between Africa and Ireland and the US West Coast. Similarly, it will also be the only direct route between Ireland and Los Angeles , which will facilitate the exchange of passengers and goods between the two locations and between them and Africa. The flight will be operated with a frequency of three times a week and will take place also in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Indeed, one of these aircraft landed in Dublin on March 20 this year, from Ethiopia and final destination in Los Angeles, proving the travel route and marking the first time an airplane of these characteristics made ​​a scheduled stop at Dublin Airport .
