Acer expands its Predator range with new OLED and MiniLED monitors for demanding gamers

This year will be, without a doubt, the year of OLED and MiniLED monitors. The technologies that are already successful in televisions from many brands are coming to the monitor market with a bang. Although until now the use of these technologies limited some characteristics, such as the refresh rate, manufacturers have managed to overcome these limitations and create monitors with OLED and MiniLED panels with very high frequencies. And this has led to a proliferation of gaming monitors with these technologies. And how could it be otherwise, Acer and its Predator range were not going to be left behind.

The well-known manufacturer has taken advantage of the celebration of CES 2024 to present nothing less than four new gaming monitors with OLED and MiniLED technology. Among them, its new flagship stands out, the Predator Z57, which comes with dual UHD resolution (7680 x 2160 pixels) at 120 Hz. Two of the new Predator monitors have MiniLED panels, while the other two are equipped with OLED panels. And as you can imagine, all of them offer large screens and very powerful gaming features.

In summary, In the MiniLED range we have the aforementioned Predator Z57 and the 34-inch Predator X34 V3compatible with UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels) at 180 Hz refresh rate. Acer's new OLED models are the 39-inch Predator X39 and the 34-inch Predator X34, both with ultra-fast latency and performance at UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) resolution at 240 Hz and a pixel response time of 0.01 ms. The other model in the new MiniLED range is the Predator X34 V3with a curved screen 34 inches. Has resolution QHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) in format 21:9 and with a curvature 1500R for greater immersion. Offers color gamut coverage 94% DCI-P3 and certification VESA DisplayHDR 1000. It also has a fast refresh rate. 180Hz and a response time of 1ms (GaG) that favor fluid play.
