Google Maps gains 'tourist guide' powered by artificial intelligence

Google Maps is the giant's newest service to receive improvements with generative artificial intelligence (AI). The app is now capable of delivering search results for even more subjective topics, following the user's request.

The integration allows Google Maps be able to interpret complex requests, such as: “show me vintage-style places in San Francisco”, “I want activities for rainy days” and “places to visit with children”.
