Navigation systems for cars
Pioneer announces the launch of five car navigation systems that combine the functions of on-board computer with new connectivity services. The models in the new range, consisting of four browsers and receiver audio & video, feature a completely redesigned and are prepared to complement perfectly with Smartphones interface. Furthermore, the five devices have large touch viewers: the AVIC-F60DAB flagship of the new series, features a 7-inch capacitive screen, the first of its kind on the market. The functions of the new browsers include AppRadio (exclusive of Pioneer) Network Navigation AVICSYNC, MirrorLink support, Siri EyesFree system, expanded capabilities Bluetooth, dual camera input and so much more.The new range includes receptor-F60DAB AVIC, AVIC-F960BT, AVIC-F860BT and AVIC-F960DAB and audio & video receiver AVH-X8600BT. The AppRadio feature Pioneer offers users both iPhone and Android the ability to access and control dozens of ‘apps’ directly from the touch screen browsers when they are connected to an iPhone 4, 4S, 5, or 5S or to support Android Smartphone.
Additional features incorporated in the new models include: – Red AVICSYNC Navigation (AVIC models) – The Pioneer navigation systems offer the latest maps with information crossing to crossing, and served AVICSYNC new method to expand their capabilities. Thanks to the free application AVICSYNC installed in a ‘smartphone’ connected to the browser, the user can access services such as traffic information and weather icons and key information on the map. The most important function of the system is AVICSYNC ‘TomTom HD Traffic’, which provides the most updated information on the state of the roads data. – MirrorLink (all models) – The MirrorLink technology lets you connect compatible smartphones with the new Pioneer receivers using the CD-MU200 USB cable (optional). Similar to AppRadio Mode, MirrorLink system is now integrated into the five new recipients and provides an interface with terminals specially designed for models leading brands like Nokia, Samsung and others. – Expanded Capabilities Bluetooth (all models) – To maximize connectivity options and sound quality for hands-free calls, new browsers have the Pioneer Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4 system to provide better navigation through connected devices and bandwidth of HFP 1.6 for a clearer sound. – Siri Eyes Free (all models) – Users of the iPhone 4S models, 5, 5C and 5S system can take advantage of Siri Eyes Free. When activated, the voice of Siri be played through the vehicle’s speakers: questions and user commands are received and transmitted using the external microphone that provides Pioneer each browser. – HDMI (AVIC-F60DAB, AVIC-960BT, AVIC-F960DAB and AVH-X8600BT models) – The HDMI port built into several models of the series can be used to connect smartphones using AppRadio or as a video source or video game by corresponding external devices (Blu-Ray, game consoles, etc.). – Aha Radio (all models) – The system integrates Aha organizes content and ‘online’ user favorites, be they entertainment, news and information service, allowing easy and instant access.
