Phil Spencer, head of Xbox Game Studios, spoke about the case on social media and took the opportunity to schedule a conference for next week, where he will give more details about the company's new “vision of the future”. The exact date, however, is yet to be confirmed.

Rumors suggested that Microsoft would reveal its new multiplatform plan before the end of the current fiscal year (which ends in March) — or until the end of February.
