Phil Spencer comments on rumors about Xbox games on PlayStation
It's been a busy week for the industry with countless rumors about the possible arrival of Xbox exclusives on PlayStation. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox Game Studios, spoke about the case on social media and took the opportunity to schedule a conference for next week, where he will give more details about the company's new “vision of the future”. The exact date, however, is yet to be confirmed.
Last weekend, rumors about the premieres of Starfield, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush It is Indiana Jones on other consoles, such as PS5 and Nintendo Switch, they intensified even more. With the noise on social media about the company's possible new approach, Spencer spoke out on X (formerly Twitter) and revealed that everything will become clearer next week.

“We are listening and we are listening to you”, began the executive on the social network. “We've been planning an event about updates to our business practices for next week, and we're excited to share more details about our vision for the future of Xbox there. Stay tuned,” he added.
Rumors suggested that Microsoft would reveal its new multiplatform plan before the end of the current fiscal year (which ends in March) — or until the end of February. Possibly, given the noise that was made on social media, the company may have brought forward the schedule based on growing fan concern.
Which exclusive Xbox games could come to PS5?
Rumors began to emerge on the networks in January 2024, when the insider Nate the Hate stated that Microsoft will launch, later this year, one of its “most acclaimed original games on a competitor's system”.

After that, several other industry insiders took to the networks to comment based on their sources, stating that Microsoft has plans to launch the house's exclusives on competing consoles.

- Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga.
Of course, the house's future premieres, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga, Fable and possibly the new The Elder Scrollscan remain within the Xbox ecosystem's temporary exclusivity system.
In other words, they can reach Xbox and PC consoles first, directly through Game Pass. After a set time, the company must then release the title on competing platforms, such as the PS5, at full price.
