A smartphone is another term used to refer to a personal digital assistant. This is a device that has a color screen and combines the features of a laptop and a mobile phone. It also has the ability to connect wireless networks and send emails.
A smartphone must have a system operative to work. The type of system used often depends on the phone model. For example, the iPhone uses a system designed by Apple, while Microsoft uses Windows Mobile for mobile market. Even systems like Linux open source can be used on a smartphone. A smartphone is able to handle the amount of information it contains, as it makes use of a technology called FSK, which uses two frequencies. The speed at which a smartphone restores their power depends on the amount of electrical current that the charger allows flow.
