Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, the visionary behind the popular game Stardew Valley, shared news about the completion of the long-awaited “Update 1.6”, which will be released for free in the future. The developer revealed that the scope of the update has grown considerably, including three new festivals, new items, dialogue and the introduction of a long-awaited multiplayer mode for up to eight players.
In this final phase, the developer is focused on fixing bugs and polishing the game to ensure an improved experience. With a release confirmed for 2024, Barone expressed his gratitude to the community for their patience, stating that “it will be fun to see everyone playing.”
