Xiaomi 14 Ultra will arrive with Snapdragon processor and 16 GB of RAM, according to Geekbench

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, a future member of the Chinese brand's premium series, appeared in the database of Geekbench on Tuesday (30), increasing rumors about the proximity of the launch. The tested cell phone has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip together with 16 GB of RAM memory.

The most powerful version of the line that already includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro cell phones appears identified as model 24030PN60G, with the letter “G” referring to the global version. It runs Android 14, possibly under the HyperOS interface, uses a motherboard codenamed “aurora” and has a chipset with eight cores and a maximum speed of 3.30 GHz.

The Xiaomi 14 achieved very high performance in the test, achieved 9,317 points on single core and 26,523 points on multi-core, surpassing some of its competitors. However, it is worth highlighting that the measurements took place on the older Geekbench 4, instead of the current Geekbench 6, which may have contributed to the enhanced result.

A similar situation occurred with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S24+ with Exynos 2400 processor, which also obtained a high score when tested on the Geekbench 4 platform, as highlighted by the 91mobiles. The South Korean giant's phone recorded 9,043 points in single-core and 25,655 in multi-core.

Professional cameras

Details about the camera specifications of Xiaomi's next flagship were also leaked recently. According to details shared on the social network Weibo, the Ultra variant will come with Leica Summilux lens, present in professional equipment, supporting variable aperture from f/1.63 to f/4.0.

The rear assembly must also include a Sony LYT-900 1-inch 50 MP sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a focal length of up to 120mm. The module will be completed by a 50 MP telephoto lens and a 50 MP Sony IMX8 ultra-wide angle lens, according to the report.

As for the other components, rumors suggest the presence of a 1440p curved AMOLED screen, ultrasonic fingerprint reader, compatibility with satellite communication services and 80W ultra-fast wireless charging. The launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra should take place in February.
