Galaxy S24 has already sold more than twice as much as the S23 in Latin America
Pre-sales of the Galaxy S24 were better than that of the Galaxy S23 in Latin America, announced Samsung CEO for the region, HS Jo, this Tuesday (23). According to him, mMore than twice as many devices were sold in the same period.
“Galaxy S24 series pre-sales in LATAM have outperformed the previous year’s model numbers by more than 100% so far — and that’s just the beginning,” Jo said in a LinkedIn post. “The incredible acceptance of S24 in Latin America shows that LATAM consumers are recognizing and open to all the possibilities that AI brings,” she added.
The Galaxy S24 line was launched on Wednesday (17) during the Unpacked event. The device's debut is marked by a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and construction changes in the S24 Ultra, now with a flat screen and titanium body.
Samsung focuses on artificial intelligence
The highlight of Samsung's new generation of cell phones is the integration with Galaxy AI, Samsung's AI tool platform. The services guarantee a variety of facilities, including simultaneous translation on calls, content formatting and transcription of audio recordings.
Photo editing and slow motion video creation capabilities are also present on the Galaxy S24. The new features increase the potential of the devices' cameras, making captures even more impressive.
In Brazil, the devices were launched starting at R$5,999 for the most basic model, going up to R$12,999 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the most expensive version.
