WhatsApp is preparing a support channel powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The tool, which was discovered in the “Contact Us” tab, is currently being tested in the Beta version of the messenger for iOS.
As shown in the print released this Tuesday (06) on the website WABetaInfothe feature description now includes the possibility of support being generated by Meta's artificial intelligence.

With the addition of AI to WhatsApp support, Meta makes the tool even more efficient. Now, even when there are no human attendants, users can have their questions answered by a bot.
Despite increasing the chances of contact, it is not guaranteed that the bot's responses are reliable. Tools powered by generative AI can present errors — so-called “hallucinations”.
In any case, users can choose to be answered exclusively by humans — which can increase support waiting times.
In development on Android and iOS
The function was found in version 188.8.131.52 of WhatsApp Beta for iOS, currently available to testers enrolled in the TestFlight program. The same feature was found in preparation on Android, but in version 184.108.40.206 of the experimental messenger.
