This caused the value of the company and its shares to soar, leaving many large investors at a loss, as they were betting on the asset's decline.

According to the synopsis, the film “follows the chaos on Wall Street after GameStop shares soared due to a movement organized by small investors on Reddit's WallStreetBets forum, causing billions in losses for large investment funds.
